Boat Parade
Boat Parade Rules and Regulations:
Have Fun!
Begins at 1:00 PM (Sharp) after the fishing
derby. Boats will meet at Sunset Beach on East Chestermere
Drive.
Please allow for your time to launch. For
launching information contact Chuck Wilson at 680-1100 or
Patrick Watson at 923-0099.
All boats will receive a prize or gift!
First, second, and third place ribbons will
be awarded at 4:00 PM at the bandstand stage at John Peake Park.
Carry a banner or theme decorate. No boat
too big or too small. Please have boats suitable for a family
event.
Boats must follow the lead boat in a safe
and orderly fashion. Please don’t drink and drive.
Neighbours and friends on the lake! –
please help us make this an enjoyable and safe event by
restricting your boat use during the parade time. Approximately
1:00PM – 3:00 PM.
The boat parade committee would like to
extend their thanks to all the support and donations of cash and
prizes for this event! We are still looking for prize donations
and grab bags if anyone has anything to donate. Approximately 30
bags – nothing is too big or too small.
For everyone’s enjoyment, the boat parade
can be viewed from Sunset Beach, Chestermere Landing or
Anniversary Park.
